# Character Rental

Players can rent Characters to play BOUNTYKINDS and later purchase them outright with YU.

Players can rent Characters for use in the game. Players who do not own an NFT can log in, rent a Character, and play BOUNTYKINDS.

Rented Characters are held for an unlimited period and can be purchased outright by consuming YU.

Rented Characters cannot be used for Re:Core. Purchasing a rented Character makes it eligible. See [Re:Core](/game-fi-elements/re-core.md).
