# BOUNTYKINDS

BountyKinds is a blockchain game built on the Binance Smart Chain that runs on a triple token system.

#### What is BOUNTYKINDS?

BountyKinds is a new Web3 project set in a gaming universe where players can earn by contributing in the game's world building. Players have several ways of earning within the game, which makes gameplay and strategizing more unique and interesting. There are also different kinds of games, meaning players have limitless options to choose from on how they want to explore the world of BountyKinds.

BountyKinds will be available within the Binance Smart Chain. It will be utilizing a triple token system which allows players to have more options to choose from when tackling the game.

The game itself will consist of multiple game genres such as all-time classics like board games, map adventure games, fan-favorites such as role-playing games (RPG) or in-demand games such as first-person shooting (FPS) games or battle royale MOBA games. These games and its areas will be determined by both you, the players and us developers, heavily putting emphasis on the "Play-to-Earn" aspect and "Co-production" aspects of the game.

The BountyKinds universe is going to be dictated by this unique achievement system where all contributions to the game would be quantified and scaled to a number. This number will decide the intricate reward values that come with playing the game. The goal of BountyKinds lie in bringing gamers from various cultures together, regardless of whether they are in the real world or the metaverse. To have players aim for their highest achievable values in the hopes of creating a game with world building that affects even our real world in a positive way.

BountyKinds aims to be multi-chain, initially starting with the Binance Smart Chain (BSC), adding additional chains as user governance sees fit. Players can switch through these various chains. All tokens and NFTs will be exchangeable as well on a one-to-one basis. Binance Smart Chain (BSC) is a parallel blockchain to the Binance Chain that supports smart contracts and is a permission-free platform for decentralized applications (DApps). BSC has a block time of 5 seconds, cross-chain asset movement, EVM compatibility, Proof-of-Stake Authority and a consensus protocol to ensure scalability.

BSC uses the BEP20 token standard, which is similar to Ethereum's ERC20 standard. Key digital assets from other chains can be ported to BSC in the form of pegged BEP20 tokens. As a low-cost and fast alternative to Ethereum backed by crypto companies, Smart Chain already has a variety of DApps and DeFi apps running on its chain. Smart Chain is decentralized finance and gaming, DApps for gambling, NFT collections, and many other areas. Users tend to be particularly large in Asia, and BOUNTYKINDS chose to develop on BSC as its first chain due to the low cost of gas and the balance between stability and security.

BountyKinds boasts its commitment to game-centric design and makes sure that it will create a game that not only the developers themselves would love to play, one avid gamers could also have fun, yet leave just as much cryptocurrency essence so that investors could enjoy as well.

# Game Plot Overview

BOUNTYKINDS is set in the post-apocalyptic dystopia where Earth is devoid of all organic human life after the last remaining people left the planet in search of more resources. The lifeless planet became the battleground for different races as they attempted to assert their dominance over other tribes. Aim for glory and ensure victory over others by grinding through challenges, gathering rare items that will be unique to your inventory, help build the world by being a land-owner and establish your own footing within the game, or simply trek through the vast world to meet new friends and collect loot from playing the many games that will be available in the BountyKinds world.

In the world of BOUNTYKINDS, there is no right way in conquering the universe. Quite literally, those who enjoy the most through their adventure will have the highest chance of winning it all.

# Getting Started

New players set up a wallet and obtain a Character before building a formation to play BOUNTYKINDS.

### STEP 1

Prepare a Binance Smart Wallet (Metamask recommended).

### STEP 2

If you do not intend to draw the GACHA, skip Step 2.

Visit the website (<https://bountykinds.com/>) and press **GACHA**. Draws are paid for in YU. Once your Character appears, you are free to claim it.

For those who received Characters or sent their NFTs from an external wallet, enter your in-game portfolio by pressing the right side of your wallet address, and claim your NFTs from there.

※ Gas fees are required when doing the GACHA and when claiming your NFTs.

### STEP 3

Visit the site (<https://bountykinds.com/>) and press **PLAY GAME**.

### STEP 4

Choose the Characters you own, or rent Characters from the system. Rented Characters are held for an unlimited period and can be purchased outright with YU at any time. See [Character Rental](/free-to-earn-systems/character-rental).

### STEP 5

Build a formation and start playing. A formation requires one Leader and can hold up to two additional Characters. See [Battle System](/play-games/battle-system).

\*Players who have been participating since the alpha phase can continue to play with that account.

Detailed instructions on how to get started with BOUNTYKINDS are available on our official blog.

# Token Ecosystem

The Token Ecosystem rewards players who contribute more time and effort to BOUNTYKINDS through its triple token model.

Contribute-To-Earn is built on the concept of rewarding gamers who spends a lot of time interacting with the multiple facets of the game. Unlike the trend of most blockchain games such as AFK gaming, or being playable with minimal effort, BountyKinds chooses to reward players who are eager to grind. The more players play, the bigger the stakes get - the better BountyKinds becomes as a gaming platform.

\*BWP rankings run Daily, Weekly, Monthly, and Season, and a variety of rewards are given for each.

# $BKWD

GOVERNANCE TOKEN - BountyKinds World DAO ($BKWD) Token

$BKWD, serves as the main governance token for the BOUNTYKINDS Project. Holders of these tokens become voters who could dictate the game state, such as being able to choose which games could be implemented in the future. It is one of the primary rewards for players who will reach the highest rankings by the end of each season.

This governance tokens are not only rewarded for the season, but also partly returned as airdrops to cooperating game players in the test phase.

{% embed url="<https://whitepaper.bountykinds.com/token-ecosystem/usdbkwd/bkwd-airdrop-system>" %}

# BKWD Airdrop System

The BKWD Airdrop System returns a portion of the BKWD to players according to the share of airdrop points they hold.

The ratio of the total points earned by all users to the points earned by a player determines the allocation of tokens.

The BKWD point system rewards players with this point share at the time of listing. Points are issued to BOUNTYKINDS players and to players who have traded in related tokens and NFTs. The airdrop allocates a share of the BKWD Airdrop pool set aside at the time of listing based on the share of points held. Points are earned in a number of ways.

### Check your BKWD share points

{% embed url="<https://bountykinds.com/airdrop>" %}

\*The number of points is not an indication of the quantity of the airdrop, but a measure of a player's current share.\
\*\*Accounts with no game play are not reflected in this airdrop system.

### How to earn points

Points are awarded to users who have played an important role in the ecosystem. The specific conditions for awarding points are as follows.

| Type | Conditions of Acquisition | Point | Upper Limit |

# $YU

YU is the main token used within BOUNTYKINDS, earned as loot and spent throughout the game.

The $YU token is the main currency within the game. It is used for the GACHA, for purchases in the SHOP, for trades on the Marketplace, for buying out rented Characters, and for a number of in-game actions. $YU also drops as loot from participating in games. There is a limit to how much $YU a player can earn daily.

### Where YU Is Spent

| Action |
| ------------------------------------------------------------- |
| GACHA draws, single and ten-draw |
| Cancelling a Re:Core |
| Arena opponent refresh, beyond the three free daily refreshes |
| Casual Arena |
| SHOP purchases |
| Marketplace trades |
| Buying out a rented Character |

Costs are subject to change and are shown in game.

See [GACHA](/game-fi-elements/gacha), [SHOP](/game-fi-elements/shop), [Re:Core](/game-fi-elements/re-core), [Arena](/play-games/arena), and [Marketplace](/marketplace).

\*When $YU Token is used in a game, it is treated as YU points, and YU points and $YU tokens are exchanged at a 1:1 ratio.

\*\*When converting YU points to $YU tokens, there will be a gas fee.

\*\*\*Two fees apply when claiming $YU tokens from YU points. The system fee is 0% of the claim amount. The lotto fee is 3% of the claim amount and is charged only when the transaction succeeds, accumulating in the LOTTO EVENT pool as the prize.

\*\*\*\*SHOP prices are handled to one decimal place, in units of 0.1 YU.

# $FFE

FFE is the energy token that limits how many times a player can engage in BOUNTYKINDS games.

The Forbidden Fruit Energy Token is the energy unit in the game. It limits the number of times a player can engage in the games available within the BOUNTYKINDS universe. There are two types of FFE.

**Free FFE:** A player can hold up to 250 free FFE. To obtain more, the player must first spend what they hold. Free FFE is obtained in various ways, including the daily bonus, without needing to pay for it.

**Paid FFE:** $FFE is also available for purchase. Purchased $FFE tokens can be used to play the game when free FFE runs out.

### Where FFE Is Spent

| Content | Cost |
| ------------------------ | ---------------------------------- |
| MAP, per die roll | 1 to 12 FFE depending on the Floor |
| Bounty Hall, per attempt | 2 to 20 FFE depending on the Stage |
| Arena, per match | 2 to 6 FFE depending on Rank |
| Casual Arena, per match | 1 FFE |

The Bounty Hall can be attempted three times per day without consuming FFE, and Boost squares in the MAP grant an extra roll at no FFE cost.

See [MAP](/play-games/map), [Bounty Hall](/play-games/bounty-hall), and [Arena](/play-games/arena).

### FFE and User Level

User Level rises with the amount of FFE a player consumes. Each User Level up grants FFE and Bounty Points, and the daily bonus grants FFE according to the player's User Level. From Lv50, the maximum User Level, players receive one Lottery Ticket for every 150 FFE consumed. See [User Level](/gamefi-sustainability/user-level).

FFE can also be obtained from FFE Tickets. See [Items](/game-fi-elements/items).

# Dominion Ranking

Dominion Ranking is the overall player ranking of BOUNTYKINDS, decided by the total BWP a player has earned.

BOUNTYKINDS rewards player skill and effort with its triple token system. The balance between the tokens a player can earn from is kept at a steady level. Because each token limits one of the others, the only way a player is rewarded a good amount is either by winning a lot of matches with heavy skill expression, or by grinding numerous matches and accumulating as much BWP as possible.

### Rank

Dominion rank is determined by total BWP. BWP is earned and lost in the Arena, so rank follows the same thresholds as the Arena Rank: it starts at D3 and rises through D2, D1, C3 and upward, with SS rank held by the top three players in each Arena. See [Arena](/play-games/arena).

Based on the BWP earned each day, the daily ranking fluctuates and the amount of rewards constantly changes. Dominion rankings are competed for over the course of a season.

BWP

Dominion ranking reward

Rewards are also distributed in different amounts depending on rank.

This gaming environment means that having strong NFTs does not automatically guarantee high income. Players who start on low level NFTs have an equal shot at getting a higher ranking on the ladder as those who pre-purchased NFTs. The harder a player plays, the more they earn, and that is the main philosophy of BOUNTYKINDS.

# BWP

BWP is the rank point metric used to determine a player's overall ranking within BOUNTYKINDS.

The Bounty World Point (BWP) is the rank point metric used to determine a player's overall ranking within the BOUNTYKINDS universe. The amount of BWP the player and the total player base hold decides the limit of $YU that player can earn per day.

### Earning and Losing BWP

BWP is earned and lost in the Arena. Winning earns BWP and losing forfeits it, with the amount depending on Rank and on whether the player was attacking or defending. Defending against an attack changes BWP but does not change Group Points.

| Rank | Attacking BWP (Win / Loss) | Defending BWP (Win / Loss) |
| ---- | -------------------------- | -------------------------- |
| D | 50 / 0 | 25 / 0 |
| C | 50 / −10 | 25 / −5 |
| B | 40 / −15 | 20 / −7 |
| A | 40 / −20 | 20 / −10 |
| S | 30 / −20 | 15 / −10 |

Limit Break raises the amount of BWP a Character earns. See [Enhancement System](/game-fi-elements/enhancement-system).

### BWP and Rank

Total BWP determines Arena Rank, which starts at D3 and rises through D2, D1, C3 and upward. Rank governs FFE cost, BWP earned, the refresh cap, and reward tier. See [Arena](/play-games/arena).

BWP also determines Dominion rankings, which are competed for over the course of a season.

[Dominion Ranking Reward](/token-ecosystem/dominion-ranking/rewards)

# Rewards

The amount of YU a player receives each day depends on their Dominion rank and their share of BWP earned.

### Ranking Rewards

Dominion ranking rewards are the same as the Arena season ranking rewards. They are updated every season and are announced through the official channels at the start of each season. See [Arena](/play-games/arena).

### Daily $YU Distribution

Every day, the amount of $YU points distributed to the player base changes. This number is not fixed and will increase as the number of players increases. The more a player contributes to the community, the higher their $YU reward will be.

The distribution of $YU is divided into 3 ranks: **High**, **Middle**, and **Low**, with the following ratios:

**High Rank**: 30% of the total $YU distribution for the day.\
**Middle Rank**: 30% of the total $YU distribution for the day.\
**Low Rank**: 40% of the total $YU distribution for the day.

The ranks are determined based on the previous day's Dominion ranking. SS and S ranks fall under High, A and B ranks fall under Middle, and C and D ranks are considered Low.

\*Pool percentages are subject to change due to game balance modifications.

### $YU Distribution Amount for the day × ( BWP earned for the day before ÷ Total BWP earned by the player base for the day before )

### = Limit amount of $YU a player could receive that day

For example, if 1,000 YU points are distributed on a certain day, High rank receives 30% (300 $YU points), Middle rank receives 30% (300 $YU points), and Low rank receives 40% (400 $YU points) of the total distribution.

Assuming a player is in Rank A with a BWP of 2,000 and the total BWP of all players in that rank band is 10,000, they will receive 60 $YU points (300 × (2,000 ÷ 10,000)).

\*Middle and Low ranks are limited to the maximum amount of YU points allocated.

\*\*Dominion ranking Daily Rewards $YU points can only be received for a period of **24 hours** and are reset the next day.

# Dominion NFT

Special NFT that allows the holder to influence the game

Top players are rewarded with game deciding privileges. With the core development team giving majority of its agency to the BOUNTYKINDS World DAO, the gamers themselves can heavily influence the direction they want the project to head to.

Serving as facilitators in the council that decides what goes on per season in BOUNTYKINDS, developers are able to maintain, sustain, and satisfy its gamer community. This reinforces the decentralization aspect that Web3 aims to achieve, and the freedom of the community to fully be creative with the possibilities blockchain technology has to offer in the gaming industry.

\*No distribution of this NFT will take place during the Alpha/Beta testing period.

# The Trident System

The Trident System will be implemented into BOUNTYKINDS in order to further enhance our unique Triple Token ecosystem. By aiming to boost market making potential, we are hoping that this new system wi

The Trident System will ensure the regulation of the earning rates for $YU in a way that is beneficial for everyone who wishes to hold our tokens. This is done through the implementation of the BOUNTYKINDS Finance team. The Finance team is in charge of the integral part in the Trident System that helps regulate $FFE tokens based on the fluctuation of the $YU token. The main task of the Finance team is the market making for $FFE tokens. The Finance team will circulate earned collected tokens from our energy token.

The complete implementation of the Trident System will only be done once our governance token, $BKWD is fully incited into the system.

# Bounty Point

### Spending Bounty Points

Bounty Points are exchanged for items in the SHOP, including Basic Characters, Augments, Skill Crystals, Experience Point Boost items, and Skill Cards. See [SHOP](/game-fi-elements/shop).

{% hint style="info" %}
Note: This information may be updated in future updates of the game.
{% endhint %}

# GameFi Sustainability

BOUNTYKINDS balances its tokens against each other to keep the game economy sustainable.

BOUNTYKINDS uses three tokens, $BKWD, $YU, and $FFE, to circulate the game economy.

The **$BKWD** serves as the **Governance** token and can only be held by the player, not by the developers, making the Player DAO feasible.

The **$YU** token can be used anywhere in the game as a **Utility** token, yet the $YU reward from a day's play is limited.

The **$FFE** tokens serve as **Energy** tokens in the game, and the number of tokens digested per game is determined by the game once played.

The amount of $YU a player earns per day is determined by the total BWP earned from play, so the more a player plays and the higher the level of play, the more it is reflected in the $YU reward.\
\
This balance between the tokens is what makes the token economy of BountyKinds sustainable and is the core of the game's main token philosophy, **C2E (Contribute-to-Earn)**.

| GACHA | Contents |
| ------------------------ | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Pickup Character GACHA | Newly added Characters and selected Characters appear at an increased rate. |
| Standard Character GACHA | Characters other than newly added ones. Up to five Characters can be placed on a wishlist, and wishlisted Characters appear at an increased rate. |

### Drop Rates

| Rarity | Drop Rate |
| -------- | --------- |
| Common | 60% |
| Uncommon | 38% |
| Rare | 2% |

The GACHA is a shared box drawn by all players. As Characters are drawn, the remaining contents of the box decrease. Pickup Characters are set at twice the quantity of other Characters.

The drop list shows the offer ratio and the issuance cap for each Character, and is available from the GACHA screen at all times.

### Limited-Time GACHA

A limited-time GACHA runs from the day after the pre-season begins until the end of Season 1. It is drawn with Special Gacha Stones only, and cannot be drawn with YU. Any Special Gacha Stones still held at the end of Season 1 are converted into Gacha Stones.

The player who draws the last Character from the box receives an additional Rare Character at random.

Once the box has been emptied it is refilled, and the contents change with each refill. Refill dates are announced through the official channels. From the fifth refill onward, the drop rates match those of the standard GACHA and the same contents repeat.

| Refill | Common | Uncommon | Rare |
| ------ | ------ | -------- | ---- |
| 1 | 30% | 60% | 10% |
| 2 | 32% | 60% | 8% |
| 3 | 34% | 60% | 6% |
| 4 | 36% | 60% | 4% |
| 5 | 38% | 60% | 2% |

During the pre-season the standard GACHA is drawn with YU only. From Season 1 it can also be drawn with Gacha Stones. See [Items](/game-fi-elements/items).

### GACHA History

A history of recent draws is saved. Each record shows the date and time of the draw, the type of GACHA drawn, the item obtained, and the cost consumed.

| Passive | A special ability unique to the Character. See [Passives](/game-fi-elements/passives). |

Each Character holds one Skill and one Passive from the start. The Level of the starting Skill and Passive corresponds to the Character's rarity. A Common Character starts with a Lv1 Skill and Passive, an Uncommon Character with Lv2.

### Stats

| Stat | Effect |
| ------------ | ------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| HP | Damage the Character can take before being knocked out. |
| Attack | Determines physical damage dealt. |

| Speed | Determines turn order. |
| Critical | Chance of landing a critical hit. |
| Resist | Resistance to status ailments. Can be raised up to 50%. |

### Growth

Stats rise with each Level gained. Rarity determines the Level cap and the starting Base stats, so higher rarities start with higher stats and keep growing for longer. A Character's current stats are shown on the Character screen in game.

| Rarity | Max Level |
| --------- | --------- |
| Basic | 20 |
| Common | 30 |
| Uncommon | 40 |
| Rare | 50 |
| Epic | 60 |
| Legendary | 70 |

### Growing a Character

**Level Up**\
Earn experience in the Bounty Hall or use Experience Point Boost items to raise a Character's Level and increase its stats. Experience Point Boost items cannot be used on a Character at its maximum Level. See [Enhancement System](/game-fi-elements/enhancement-system).

**Limit Break**\
Consume duplicate copies of the same Character to raise its stats and the amount of BWP it earns. See [Enhancement System](/game-fi-elements/enhancement-system).

**Re:Core**\
A Character that has reached its maximum Level can be used for Re:Core. Re:Core rebuilds two or three Characters into a new Character, and can change Tribe, raise rarity, and inherit Skills and Passives. See [Re:Core](/game-fi-elements/re-core).

{% hint style="info" %}
Note: Changes and/or adjustments to the stats and abilities of Characters may be made in future updates of the game.
{% endhint %}

# Tribes

Each Character belongs to one Tribe. Tribes are referenced by Skills, Passives, Augments, Battle Tactics, and Bounty Drive.

### The Nine Tribes

There are eight base Tribes and one Tribe available only through Re:Core.

| Tribe | Notes |
| -------- | ------------------------------ |
| Humanoid | Base Tribe |
| Machine | Base Tribe |
| Beast | Base Tribe |
| God | Base Tribe |
| Demon | Base Tribe |
| Dragon | Base Tribe |

| Material | Base Tribe |
| Anomaly | Available only through Re:Core |

### How Tribes Are Used

**Skills and Passives**\
Skills and Passives can specify a Tribe, such as dealing increased damage to Machine Characters or reducing damage taken from Demon Characters. See [Skills](/game-fi-elements/skills) and [Passives](/game-fi-elements/passives).

**Battle Tactics**\
A Tribe can be set as a targeting condition in a Character's Tactics settings. See [Battle Tactics](/play-games/battle-tactics).

**Bounty Drive**\
The Bounty Drive effect available to a team is determined by the Tribe of the Leader set in the formation. Each of the seven effects is assigned to a specific set of Tribes. Anomaly Leaders can access all of them. See [Battle System](/play-games/battle-system).

**Re:Core**\
Combining Characters of different Tribes produces a Character of a third Tribe. Dragon, Nature, Material, and Anomaly Characters are obtained this way. The full combination table is documented in Re:Core.

### Skill Enhancement

Skill Crystals raise a Skill's Level. The rarity of the Crystal determines both which Levels it can be used on and the success rate. If enhancement fails, the Crystal is consumed but the Skill Level does not drop.

### Skill Cards

Skill Cards add a Skill to a Character. A Skill Card exists for every Skill at every Level, and its rarity matches the Skill Level — Lv1 Common through Lv5 Legendary. A Skill Card cannot be used if the Character has no free Skill slot. The number of Skill slots is set by the Character's rarity. See [Skills](/game-fi-elements/skills) and [Re:Core](/game-fi-elements/re-core).

# Re:Core

Re:Core rebuilds existing Characters into a new Character.

Re:Core rebuilds existing Characters into a new Character. It is used to change a Character's Tribe, to raise its rarity, and to inherit Skills and Passives.

A Character must be at its maximum Level to be used for Re:Core. Up to three Characters can be combined in a single Re:Core.

### Rules

* Skills and Passives can be selected for inheritance. The number that can be inherited is limited by the rarity of the resulting Character.
* Inheritance rates vary with the rarity of the resulting Character and the rarity of the Skill or Passive being inherited. Rates can be raised with Inheritance Crystals or by consuming tokens. See [Items](/game-fi-elements/items).
* If inheritance fails, the Level of that Skill or Passive drops by one stage.
* A Character cannot hold two copies of the same Skill, even at different Levels.
* Skill and Passive Levels are inherited as they are. Re:Core cannot raise a Skill Level, and a failed inheritance lowers it.
* Limit Break progress is lost through Re:Core. If the Character set as Main and the resulting Character are the same Character, Limit Break progress is carried over.
* Basic Characters can only be combined with other Basic Characters.
* The resulting Character and the inheritance rates for each Skill and Passive can be checked before confirming the Re:Core.
* Rented Characters cannot be used for Re:Core. Purchasing a rented Character with YU makes it eligible.

### Two-Character Re:Core

Select one Character as Main and one as Sub. Two-Character Re:Core is used to inherit Skills and Passives and to create Characters of other Tribes. It does not raise rarity.

The rarity of the resulting Character follows the Main Character.

| Combination | Result |
| ----------------------- | --------------------------------------------- |
| Same Tribe, same rarity | The Main Character |
| Different Tribes | A third Tribe, at the Main Character's rarity |

Examples:

| Main | Sub | Result |
| ----------------- | ----------------- | ----------------- |
| Humanoid A (Rare) | Humanoid B (Rare) | Humanoid A |
| God (Rare) | Demon (Rare) | Dragon (Rare) |
| God (Rare) | Demon (Uncommon) | Dragon (Rare) |
| God (Uncommon) | Demon (Rare) | Dragon (Uncommon) |

### Three-Character Re:Core

Adding a third Character to a Two-Character Re:Core allows the rarity to be raised. Main and Sub must be of the same rarity. The Tribe and rarity of the third Character determine the probability of the resulting rarity.

Basic Characters can only perform Re:Core with three Basic Characters, which produces a Common Character.

| Materials (3 Characters) | Resulting Rarity | Success Rate | Success Rate (Tribes Match) | On Failure |
| ------------------------------- | ---------------- | ------------ | --------------------------- | -------------------- |
| Rare × Rare × Legendary | Epic | 100% | 100% | — |
| Rare × Rare × Epic | Epic | 100% | 100% | — |

\*Percentages in the On Failure column correspond to the standard rate and the Tribes-match rate respectively.

When a Three-Character Re:Core is performed with Characters of differing rarities for inheritance purposes, the result follows the Main Character and the success rate is 100%.

| Main | Sub | Third | Result |
| ---------------- | ---------------- | -------------- | ---------------- |
| God (Rare) | Demon (Uncommon) | Demon (Common) | God (Rare) |
| Demon (Uncommon) | God (Rare) | Demon (Common) | Demon (Uncommon) |

### Mutation

Specific three-Character combinations can produce Epic and Legendary Characters. The valid combinations rotate on a fixed cycle, such as monthly or seasonally.

| Resulting Rarity | Success Rate |
| ---------------- | ------------ |
| Epic | 30% |
| Legendary | 10% |

On failure, one of the Characters used in the Re:Core is produced instead.

### Cancelling a Re:Core

A Re:Core can be cancelled by consuming YU, immediately after the Character is created.

* Cancelled Characters return at Level 1.
* Characters of a rarity lower than the others used in the combination are burned and cannot be recovered.

| Combination | Result of Cancelling |
| ---------------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Rare × Rare × Rare | All three return at Level 1 |
| Rare × Rare × Uncommon | The two Rare Characters return at Level 1. The Uncommon Character is burned. |
| Rare × Rare × Common | The two Rare Characters return at Level 1. The Common Character is burned. |

For Mutation, cancelling follows the same rule: Characters return at Level 1 and the lowest-rarity Character is burned.

### Inheritance Limits by Rarity

The rarity of the resulting Character determines how many Passives and Skills it can hold.

| Rarity | Passives | Skills |
| --------- | -------- | ------ |
| Basic | 1 | 1 |
| Common | 1 | 2 |
| Uncommon | 2 | 3 |
| Rare | 3 | 4 |
| Epic | 4 | 5 |
| Legendary | 5 | 6 |

### Inheritance Rates

The probability of inheriting a Skill or Passive depends on its rarity and the rarity of the Character inheriting it.

| Skill / Passive Rarity | Basic | Common | Uncommon | Rare | Epic | Legendary |
| ---------------------- | ----- | ------ | -------- | ---- | ---- | --------- |
| Common | 80% | 80% | 100% | 100% | 100% | 100% |
| Uncommon | — | 40% | 80% | 100% | 100% | 100% |
| Rare | — | 10% | 40% | 80% | 100% | 100% |
| Epic | — | 5% | 10% | 40% | 80% | 100% |
| Legendary | — | 3% | 5% | 10% | 40% | 80% |

### Tribe Combination Table

Combining two Characters of different Tribes produces a Character of a third Tribe. The table is symmetric — the order of the two Tribes does not change the resulting Tribe, only the resulting rarity follows the Main Character.

| | Humanoid | Machine | Beast | God | Demon | Dragon | Nature | Material |
| ------------ | -------- | -------- | ------ | -------- | -------- | ------ | -------- | -------- |
| **Humanoid** | Humanoid | Machine | Beast | God | Demon | Dragon | Humanoid | Humanoid |
| **Machine** | Machine | Machine | Dragon | Machine | Material | Dragon | Material | Machine |
| **Beast** | Beast | Dragon | Beast | God | Demon | Dragon | Beast | Beast |
| **God** | God | Machine | God | God | Dragon | Dragon | Nature | Material |
| **Demon** | Demon | Material | Demon | Dragon | Demon | Dragon | Demon | Material |
| **Dragon** | Dragon | Dragon | Dragon | Dragon | Dragon | Dragon | Dragon | Dragon |
| **Nature** | Humanoid | Material | Beast | Nature | Demon | Dragon | Nature | Nature |
| **Material** | Humanoid | Machine | Beast | Material | Material | Dragon | Nature | Material |

# Skills

Skills are the combat abilities a Character uses in battle.

Skills are the combat abilities a Character uses in battle. Each Skill has a Level from Lv1 to Lv5. Higher Levels increase power and, for many Skills, shorten cooldowns.

Skill Levels correspond to rarity as follows.

| Skill Level | Rarity |
| ----------- | --------- |
| Lv1 | Common |
| Lv2 | Uncommon |
| Lv3 | Rare |
| Lv4 | Epic |
| Lv5 | Legendary |

Skills are governed by two cooldowns. The opening cooldown (Opening CT) is the number of turns before a Skill first becomes available, and the reuse cooldown (Reuse CT) is the number of turns required between uses. All cooldowns are reduced by 1 at the start of each turn.

A Character holds one Skill from the start, at the Level corresponding to its rarity. Additional Skills are gained through Re:Core inheritance or Skill Grant materials, and Skill Levels are raised with enhancement materials. A Character cannot hold two copies of the same Skill, even at different Levels. See [Enhancement System](/game-fi-elements/enhancement-system) and [Re:Core](/game-fi-elements/re-core).

Skills are grouped into attack Skills, healing and revival Skills, buff Skills, debuff Skills, and others such as taunts and cleansing. Each Skill has a range: single target, horizontal row, vertical row, cross, or all enemies. The full list of Skills, with their power, range, and cooldowns, is available in game.

# Passives

Passives are abilities that apply automatically without consuming a turn.

Passives are abilities that apply automatically without consuming a turn. Each Character holds one Passive from the start, at the Level corresponding to its rarity. Additional Passives are gained through Re:Core inheritance, up to the limit set by the Character's rarity. See [Re:Core](/game-fi-elements/re-core).

Passives have Levels from Lv1 to Lv5, corresponding to the same rarity scale as Skills: Lv1 Common, Lv2 Uncommon, Lv3 Rare, Lv4 Epic, Lv5 Legendary.

Values are listed for each Level. Where a cooldown changes with Level, the Level at which it changes is noted.

Passives are grouped into stat Passives, Tribe slayer Passives, ailment infliction and immunity Passives, regeneration Passives, positional Passives, action and reaction Passives, conditional Passives, and battle start Passives. The full list of Passives, with their effects and values, is available in game.

# Augments

Augments are equippable enhancements that apply their effect during battle.

Augments are equippable enhancements that apply their effect during battle. All Augments are Non-NFT.

Augments are obtained from Augment squares in the MAP and exchanged for Bounty Points in the SHOP. See [MAP](/play-games/map) and [SHOP](/game-fi-elements/shop).

Augments come in two categories. Stat Augments raise a stat for the duration of a battle. Consumable Augments trigger once when a specific condition is met.

### Consumption

An Augment is consumed once the Character it is equipped to has fought a battle, and it then disappears. One Augment is consumed per battle. This applies to both categories, whether or not the effect was triggered, and to every kind of battle, including being attacked while defending in the Arena.

Turning on auto-equip on the Character screen will equip the same Augment again after the equipped one disappears, for as long as the player holds another copy of it. Auto-equip also applies when defending in the Arena.

When a Character is attacked in the Arena, or when an equipped Augment disappears, a notification is shown on the home screen. If several copies of the equipped Augment are held, the player can choose whether to keep equipping them until none are left or to use only the equipped copy. See [Arena](/play-games/arena).

### Converting Augments

Unwanted Augments can be converted into Bounty Points from the item page. Ten Augments can also be combined into a single Augment of the next rarity up.

### Stat Augments

Stat Augments exist at five rarities. The value for each rarity is listed below.

| Augment | Effect | Common | Uncommon | Rare | Epic | Legendary |

# Enhancement System

Character growth always succeeds, but Skill enhancement can fail.

There are two forms of enhancement in BOUNTYKINDS: Character growth and Skill enhancement. Character growth always succeeds. Skill enhancement can fail.

Each form requires its own enhancement materials. Materials are obtained in the Bounty Hall or exchanged for Bounty Points in the SHOP, and Bounty Points are earned in the MAP. See [Items](/game-fi-elements/items) and [SHOP](/game-fi-elements/shop).

## Character Growth

Raise a Character's Level by earning experience in the Bounty Hall or by using Experience Point Boost items. Levels are gained one at a time. Experience Point Boost items cannot be used on a Character that has reached its maximum Level.

### Level Caps by Rarity

| Rarity | Max Level |
| --------- | --------- |
| Basic | 20 |
| Common | 30 |
| Uncommon | 40 |
| Rare | 50 |
| Epic | 60 |
| Legendary | 70 |

The experience required for each Level rises as the Level increases. The requirement for the next Level, and the experience currently held, are shown on the Character screen in game.

## Limit Break

Consume duplicate copies of the same Character to break its limit. Each stage raises the Character's stats and the amount of BWP it earns. Characters consumed this way are burned and cannot be recovered.

Lower rarities require more duplicates to reach each stage, and there are three stages up to full Limit Break. The number of duplicates required and the bonus at each stage are shown on the Character screen in game.

Limit Break progress is lost through Re:Core, unless the Character set as Main and the resulting Character are the same Character. See [Re:Core](/game-fi-elements/re-core).

## Skill Enhancement

Skills have Levels from Lv1 to Lv5. A Character holds one Skill and one Passive from the start, at the Level corresponding to its rarity — a Common Character starts at Lv1, an Uncommon Character at Lv2, and so on.

Skill Levels are raised with Skill Crystals. The rarity of the Crystal determines which Levels it can be used on and the success rate. Crystals of a lower rarity cannot be used on higher Skill Levels.

| Material Rarity | Lv1 → Lv2 | Lv2 → Lv3 | Lv3 → Lv4 | Lv4 → Lv5 |
| --------------- | --------- | --------- | --------- | --------- |
| Common | 80% | 40% | — | — |
| Uncommon | 100% | 80% | 40% | — |
| Rare | 100% | 100% | 80% | 40% |
| Epic | 100% | 100% | 100% | 80% |
| Legendary | 100% | 100% | 100% | 100% |

If enhancement fails, the Skill Crystal is consumed but the Skill Level does not drop.

Skills can also be added with Skill Cards, and removed and converted back into a Skill Card with an Extraction Crystal. See [Skills](/game-fi-elements/skills) and [Items](/game-fi-elements/items).

Re:Core inherits Skill and Passive Levels as they are. Re:Core cannot raise a Level, and a failed inheritance lowers it by one stage. See [Re:Core](/game-fi-elements/re-core).

# SHOP

The SHOP sells items for YU and exchanges other items for Bounty Points.

The SHOP has two sections. One sells items for YU, and the other exchanges items for Bounty Points.

Prices and the product lineup are refreshed at the start of each season, and are subject to change. Current prices are always shown in the SHOP in game.

Some products carry a purchase limit per player. These limits reset when the season changes. YU prices are handled to one decimal place, in units of 0.1 YU.

### Purchasable with YU

They cover attack Skills at single target, horizontal row, and vertical row in both physical and magic; healing Skills for a single target and for the user; buff Skills for Attack, Defense, Magic, Magic Defense, and Speed, each for a single target or for the user; debuff Skills for those same five stats against a single target; and Taunt. See [Skills](/game-fi-elements/skills).

Bounty Points are earned in the MAP. See [MAP](/play-games/map) and [Bounty Point](/token-ecosystem/bounty-point).

For what each item does, see [Items](/game-fi-elements/items) and [Augments](/game-fi-elements/augments).

# Play Games

Play Games are the modes players enter in BOUNTYKINDS, spanning PvP, PvE, and board-game content.

The pages in this section describe the game modes of BOUNTYKINDS and the battle system they share.

# Arena

The Arena is the PvP content of BOUNTYKINDS. Winning earns BWP and losing forfeits it.

The Arena is the PvP content of BOUNTYKINDS. Players fight against formations set by other players. Winning earns BWP and losing forfeits BWP.

### Entering the Arena

Entry requires registering a formation. Registration itself begins participation.

A formation can be registered with as few as one Character and can be changed at any time, but once registered, at least one Character must always remain in it. Characters registered in an Arena formation cannot be used in other content.

### Ranks and Groups

Rank rises with total BWP, starting at D3 and progressing through D2, D1, C3 and upward. SS rank is held by the top three players in each Arena.

Separately from Rank, players are sorted into Groups by Group Points, starting at Bronze and progressing through Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Diamond. Group Points rise and fall with wins and losses during a season, so a player who reaches Diamond can fall back to Bronze after enough losses. Players can see which Group they belong to, but not their Group Points.

When a season changes, Rank restarts two stages lower — an S rank player restarts from B3, and a B rank player from D3. Groups restart one stage lower — Diamond restarts from Platinum, and Gold from Silver.

**BWP Required per Rank**

| Rank | BWP Required |
| ---- | ------------ |
| D3 | 300 |
| D2 | 300 |
| D1 | 300 |
| C3 | 800 |
| C2 | 800 |
| C1 | 800 |
| B3 | 1,500 |
| B2 | 1,500 |
| B1 | 1,500 |
| A3 | 3,000 |
| A2 | 3,000 |
| A1 | 3,000 |
| S3 | 5,000 |
| S2 | 5,000 |
| S1 | 5,000 |

**Group Points**

Group Points rise on a win and fall on a loss. Additional Group Points are granted for defeating a player in a higher Group, and for a winning streak of three or more.

### Matchmaking

Matches are made within the same Rank band and the same Group band.

In Rank bands with few players, CPU formations are also matched to prevent the same players from being matched repeatedly. The D rank band is entirely CPU.

To change an opponent, players use Refresh Points. Three Refresh Points are distributed daily, allowing three free changes. Beyond that, each change costs YU. The number of refreshes available is capped per Rank.

### FFE Cost and BWP Earned

### Defending

From the moment a player enters the Arena, they can be attacked by other players at C rank and above.

When attacked, BWP still rises or falls with the result, but Group Points do not change. The player is notified on the home screen when they have been attacked, and when an equipped Augment has been consumed and disappeared. The formation that attacked can be reviewed afterwards.

A Character defending with an Augment equipped consumes one Augment per battle when attacked, the same as when attacking. Auto-equip also applies here. If several copies of the equipped Augment are held, the player can choose whether to keep equipping them until none are left or to use only the equipped copy. See [Augments](/game-fi-elements/augments).

### Ranking

The top 10 players are displayed in the ranking and receive special rewards. These rewards are updated every season and are announced through the official channels at the start of each season.

### Rewards

Rewards are earned through the number of Arena battles fought, regardless of whether those battles were won or lost. Rewards must be claimed by the player, and are forfeited if the player does not log in.

There are four reward types: Daily, Weekly, Monthly, and Season. Daily, Weekly, and Monthly rewards are fixed and listed below. Season rewards are updated every season and are announced through the official channels at the start of each season.

**Minimum Battles Required**

| Reward | Minimum Battles |
| ------- | --------------- |
| Daily | 5 |
| Weekly | 35 |
| Monthly | 150 |

### Casual Arena

The Casual Arena is entered by registering a formation in the same way as the Arena. Unlike the Arena, Characters registered in the Casual Arena can still be used in other content.

The rules of the Casual Arena change each season. Examples include restricting entry to Uncommon and Common Characters, restricting entry to a single Tribe, or running 1v1 matches.

The Casual Arena has no Ranks or Groups. A hidden casual rating is maintained instead, and matches cost 1 FFE and are made against players of a similar rating. There is no penalty for losing.

Rewards are earned at milestones for the number of matches played and the number won. Reward contents are shown on the Casual Arena screen in game.

# Bounty Hall

The Bounty Hall is the PvE content of BOUNTYKINDS, where players fight CPU enemies to level up Characters.

The Bounty Hall is the PvE content of BOUNTYKINDS. Players consume FFE to fight CPU enemies, and winning grants experience and Experience Point Boost items. It is the primary way to level up Characters.

### Stages

There are 10 difficulty Stages. Higher Stages grant more experience and better Experience Point Boost items.

Stages unlock in order — clearing Stage 1 unlocks Stage 2 — so it is not possible to attempt Stage 10 from the start. Losing does not lower the Stage reached.

Clearing a Stage for the first time grants a first-clear reward in addition to the standard reward. It is granted once only. Cleared Stages can be replayed any number of times by consuming FFE, granting the standard reward.

Regardless of difficulty, players may attempt the Bounty Hall three times per day without consuming FFE. This resets at 00:00 JST.

# MAP

The MAP is a board game played by consuming FFE, and it is the primary source of Bounty Points.

The MAP is a board game played by consuming FFE. Players roll a six-sided die to advance around a 30-square board, and the square they land on determines what they gain. The MAP is the primary source of Bounty Points, which are exchanged for items in the SHOP.

### Flow

1. Consume FFE and roll the die.
2. Resolve the effect of the square landed on.
3. Landing on or passing the Start square grants one stamp.
4. Repeat.

### Square Types

| Square | Effect |
| ------- | ---------------------------------------------- |
| Start | The starting square. Grants one stamp per lap. |
| BP | Grants Bounty Points. |
| Augment | Grants an Augment. |
| Boost | Roll the die again without consuming FFE. |
| Looting | The player loses Bounty Points. |
| Event | Triggers a special event. |

**Start Square**\
Stamps are granted for passing the Start square, not only for landing on it. Every five stamps automatically opens a Bonus Box containing one Lottery Ticket and a random amount of Bounty Points. On Floor 1 the Bonus Box grants 100 to 300 Bounty Points, and the amount increases on higher Floors.

**BP and Augment Squares**\
On these squares the player chooses how much risk to take. The safest option is a guaranteed payout with no roll, while the riskier options roll a twenty-sided die for a larger reward. Higher rewards carry lower odds.

**Looting Square**\
The player loses Bounty Points. There is no penalty for holding insufficient Bounty Points, and the balance never falls below zero.

**Event Square**\
The player chooses one of three treasure chests. Outcomes fall into five categories: Jackpot, Hit, Miss, Elite Enemy, and Rare Boss. Elite Enemy and Rare Boss lead to a battle, but there is no penalty for losing. When an Elite Enemy appears, the player chooses from three enemies offering different rewards.

Each time an Event square resolves as anything other than Rare Boss, the chance of encountering a Rare Boss on the next Event square increases. The chances reset once a Rare Boss appears.

### Floors

Higher Floors cost more FFE per roll and unlock at higher User Levels. Each Floor holds 30 squares, and the composition shifts toward Event and Looting squares as the Floor rises.

| Floor | User Level Required | FFE per Roll | Start | BP | Augment | Boost | Looting | Event |
| ----- | ------------------- | ------------ | ----- | -- | ------- | ----- | ------- | ----- |
| 1 | None | 1 | 1 | 14 | 6 | 3 | 3 | 3 |
| 2 | 10 | 2 | 1 | 12 | 6 | 3 | 4 | 4 |
| 3 | 20 | 3 | 1 | 10 | 6 | 4 | 4 | 5 |
| 4 | 30 | 5 | 1 | 8 | 7 | 3 | 5 | 6 |
| 5 | 40 | 8 | 1 | 6 | 7 | 3 | 6 | 7 |

# LOTTO EVENT

The Lotto Event gives players a chance to win a large amount of YU points for free.

The Lotto Event is a supplementary feature that gives players a chance to win a large amount of YU points for free.

### The Pool

When a player claims $YU tokens from YU points, two fees apply.

| Fee | Rate |
| ---------- | ---------------------- |
| System fee | 0% of the claim amount |
| Lotto fee | 3% of the claim amount |

The lotto fee is charged only when the transaction succeeds. It accumulates in the Lotto Event pool as the prize.

When a player wins the lotto, they receive every YU point held in the accumulated pool, and the pool resets to zero.

### Lottery Tickets

A Lottery Ticket is required to spin the lotto. Lottery Tickets are obtained for free from Daily Missions, from the Arena, and from the MAP.

Players can hold up to 180 Lottery Tickets in storage. If a player obtains a Lottery Ticket while already holding 180, the excess is deleted automatically.

See [Missions](/missions), [Arena](/play-games/arena), and [MAP](/play-games/map).

### Spinning the Lotto

Players can spin the lotto at any time using Lottery Tickets. One ticket spins once, and ten tickets spin ten times at once. The odds are the same either way.

# Battle System

Battles in BOUNTYKINDS are turn-based, full-auto fights that players cannot intervene in once they begin.

### Overview

Battles are 3v3 turn-based full-auto fights. Players cannot intervene once a battle begins. The result is determined by three settings made in advance:

* Formation — the three Characters brought into battle and which one is the Leader
* Placement — the position of each Character across the front and back rows
* Tactics — the AI behaviour and Skill priority assigned to each Character

Skill cooldowns (CT), Skill range, and Tactics settings form the core of strategy. Battles support 2x and 3x speed and a skip function.

### Formation and Placement

The formation is a 3x2 grid of three front row squares and three back row squares. One Character must be set as the Leader. Up to two additional Characters can be added, for a maximum of three.

| | Left | Center | Right |
| ------------- | ---------- | ------------ | ----------- |
| **Front Row** | Front Left | Front Center | Front Right |
| **Back Row** | Back Left | Back Center | Back Right |

**Row Bonuses and Targeting Rules**

| Row | Bonus | Targeting Rule |
| ----------------- | ----------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Front (3 squares) | Attack +20% | Blocks single-target physical attacks aimed at the back row while any front row Character is alive. Blocking ends when the front row is wiped out. |
| Back (3 squares) | Magic +20% | While the front row is standing, back row Characters can only be hit by single-target magic attacks and area Skills. Once the front row is wiped out, all attacks can reach them. |

**Adjacency Bonuses**

* Characters adjacent to the Leader — above, below, left, or right — gain Attack and Magic +10%. Applies only while the Leader is alive.
* A back row Character with another Character placed directly in front of it gains Defense and MagicDefense +20%. Applies only while that front Character is alive.

### Damage Calculation

Physical damage is calculated from the attacker's Attack against the target's Defense, and magic damage from the attacker's Magic against the target's MagicDefense. Bless Skills compare the attacker's Attack and Magic and use whichever produces more damage.

Skill Power scales the result, so a Skill at a higher Level deals more damage. Every instance of damage is adjusted by a small random multiplier, so the same attack does not always deal the same amount. A critical hit increases the damage dealt.

Damage is never fully blocked. Even against a target with high Defense, an attack always deals a minimum proportion of the attacker's Attack or Magic.

Healing is calculated from the healer's Magic and scales with Skill Power in the same way.

**Guard**

Reduces all final damage taken by 50% until the Character's next action. Guard has no cooldown.

### Action Rules

* Turn order is determined by Speed.
* All cooldowns are reduced by 1 at the start of each turn.
* Skills have an opening cooldown and a reuse cooldown. An area physical attack with an opening CT of 1 and a reuse CT of 4 becomes available on turn 2, then requires 4 turns between uses.
* When the same type of buff or debuff is applied again, the higher value overwrites the lower one and the duration resets. Effects do not stack additively.

### Anti-Stalemate Rules

**Healing Fatigue**\
From turn 11 onward, all healing is reduced by 5% each turn. This applies to every source of healing, including automatic recovery from Passives.

| Turn | Healing Effectiveness |
| ---- | --------------------- |
| 15 | 75% |
| 20 | 50% |
| 25 | 25% |
| 30 | 20% (floor) |

**Revival Penalty**\
A revived Character returns with its maximum HP reduced to 50% of the original value. The penalty is applied once only. A second revival does not reduce it further.

### Action Logic

Each Character resolves its action in the following order.

1. Bounty Drive check — fires immediately if the burst gauge is full.
2. Skill check — the highest-priority Skill whose cooldown has cleared and whose Tactics condition is met.
3. Normal attack — used when neither of the above applies.

Conditions are evaluated from priority 1 downward. Once a condition is met, that action is executed and no further conditions are checked. If all Skills are on cooldown, the Character performs a normal attack. See [Battle Tactics](/play-games/battle-tactics).

### Skill Range

| Range | Effect |
| -------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Single | One enemy, such as the nearest or the lowest HP, depending on Tactics settings. |
| Horizontal Row | All three Characters in the front row, or all three in the back row. |

### Status Ailments

Status ailments are inflicted by Skills and can be removed with cleansing Skills. The Resist stat reduces the chance of being afflicted by up to 50%. Augments can nullify specific ailments entirely.

| Ailment | Duration | Effect |
| --------- | ------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| Burn | Permanent | Defense reduced by 50%. |
| Poison | Permanent | Takes damage equal to 1/16 of maximum HP at the end of each turn. |
| Silence | Permanent | Cannot use magic. |
| Sleep | 3 turns, cleared when hit | Cannot act. Being hit does not clear this until the Character has missed one action. |
| Paralysis | Permanent | 50% chance of being unable to act. |

### Bounty Drive

Acting and taking damage fills the burst gauge. At 100%, the effect fires immediately.

**Gauge Accumulation**

| Trigger | Gauge Gain |
| ---------------- | ---------- |
| Normal attack | +10% |
| Taking damage | +10% |
| Ally knocked out | +20% |

\*Bounty Drive itself does not build the gauge, regardless of the effect used.

**Effects by Leader Tribe**

The effect and its magnitude are determined by the Leader set in the formation. If the Leader is knocked out, the gauge continues to fill but Bounty Drive will not fire. Reviving a Leader while the gauge is at 100% triggers Bounty Drive at the moment of revival.

| Effect | Result | Available to Tribes |
| -------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | -------------------------------- |
| Bounty Crush | 350% power damage to a single enemy. Uses the higher of Attack or Magic — physical if Attack, magic if Magic. | Humanoid, Beast, Dragon, Anomaly |
| Bounty Blast | 170% power damage to all enemies. Uses the higher of Attack or Magic — physical if Attack, magic if Magic. | Machine, Demon, Dragon, Anomaly |
| Bounty Heal | Revives all allies at 1 HP (once per battle), then heals all allies at 300 power. | Humanoid, God, Anomaly |

| Bounty Magic | Magic +200% for all allies (3 turns). | Demon, Nature, Anomaly |

# Battle Tactics

Battle Tactics are the preset behaviour patterns assigned to each Character, deciding what it does on its turn in a full-auto battle.

Battles are fully automatic, so a Character's actions are decided by the Tactics assigned to it. Each Character is given one Tactic, and that Tactic holds an ordered list of conditions paired with actions.

Conditions are evaluated from priority 1 downward. The first condition that is met is executed and no further conditions are checked. If no condition is met, or every Skill is still on cooldown, the Character performs a normal attack. See [Battle System](/play-games/battle-system).

The presets below are available.

# Free to Earn Systems

Free to Earn systems let players engage with BOUNTYKINDS without owning a Character NFT.

BOUNTYKINDS lets players who do not yet own a Character NFT play by borrowing one through Scholarship or NFT Rental. Each system is described in this section regarding how it operates.

# SCHOLARSHIP

Scholarship lets Character NFT owners lend their Characters to other players called scholars.

Scholarship lets players who own Character NFTs lend them to other players, called scholars. Players without Character NFTs can borrow them and play the game. BOUNTYKINDS is free to play without understanding the blockchain, but players can earn more by understanding it and lending or borrowing through Scholarship.

### Lending

The owner sets the following and posts the Character to the Scholarship Board.

| Setting | Detail |
| -------------- | --------------------------------- |
| Price | The amount of YU the scholar pays |
| Lending period | 3, 7, 15, 30, or 90 days |
| Password | Set by the owner |
| Comment | Free text from the owner |

There is no fee on a Scholarship transaction.

### Borrowing

Scholars browse the Scholarship Board, select the Character NFT they want, and apply for it.

### Flow

1. The scholar pays YU to the owner.
2. The owner lends the Character NFT and receives the YU.
3. The scholar plays BOUNTYKINDS with the borrowed Character.
4. Items and tokens earned during play belong to the scholar.

{% hint style="info" %}
Note: This information may be updated in future updates of the game.
{% endhint %}

# Character Rental

Players can rent Characters to play BOUNTYKINDS and later purchase them outright with YU.

Players can rent Characters for use in the game. Players who do not own an NFT can log in, rent a Character, and play BOUNTYKINDS.

Rented Characters are held for an unlimited period and can be purchased outright by consuming YU.

Rented Characters cannot be used for Re:Core. Purchasing a rented Character makes it eligible. See [Re:Core](/game-fi-elements/re-core).

### Available Characters

| Character |
| -------------------------- |
| Guardian |

{% endhint %}

# Marketplace

The Marketplace allows players to buy and sell Character NFTs and items used in the game.

The Marketplace unlocks at User Level 20 and allows players to buy and sell the NFT Characters and items used in the game.

Trades are settled in YU points. A fee is applied to each trade. The current fee is shown in game.

Transfers between wallet accounts are permitted, but a transferred NFT cannot be used in the game for one week.

# BOUNTYKINDS Team

BOUNTYKINDS was brought to inception by a group of gamers who seek inspiration in the current state of blockchain gaming. The team acknowledges that the Play-to-Earn (P2E) aspect of these games are what separates them from other traditional games. But they also saw that this facet is what diminishes the gaming experience of these projects.

Web3 integration and metaverse gaming are the recent trends in the gaming scene and with this in mind, the BOUNTYKINDS team was formed with the goal of making a blockchain game that players would actually love to play while being able to immerse themselves in the wonders of these new technologies.

The devs are led by a team of Japanese blockchain game enthusiasts, and are currently developing the game in Vietnam to be more in touch with its Southeast Asian market. It is eyeing to branch out globally and spread its reach to various places around the globe.
