# BWP

BWP is the rank point metric used to determine a player's overall ranking within BOUNTYKINDS.

The Bounty World Point (BWP) is the rank point metric used to determine a player's overall ranking within the BOUNTYKINDS universe. The amount of BWP the player and the total player base hold decides the limit of $YU that player can earn per day.

### Earning and Losing BWP

BWP is earned and lost in the Arena. Winning earns BWP and losing forfeits it, with the amount depending on Rank and on whether the player was attacking or defending. Defending against an attack changes BWP but does not change Group Points.

| Rank | Attacking BWP (Win / Loss) | Defending BWP (Win / Loss) |
| ---- | -------------------------- | -------------------------- |
| D | 50 / 0 | 25 / 0 |
| C | 50 / −10 | 25 / −5 |
| B | 40 / −15 | 20 / −7 |
| A | 40 / −20 | 20 / −10 |
| S | 30 / −20 | 15 / −10 |

Limit Break raises the amount of BWP a Character earns. See [Enhancement System](/game-fi-elements/enhancement-system.md).

### BWP and Rank

Total BWP determines Arena Rank, which starts at D3 and rises through D2, D1, C3 and upward. Rank governs FFE cost, BWP earned, the refresh cap, and reward tier. See [Arena](/play-games/arena.md).

BWP also determines Dominion rankings, which are competed for over the course of a season.
